I got my first Tie Dye when I was 5 years old in 1970.
I have always loved “psychedelic” art my whole life, and Mandala and Tie Dye style art. In 1985 I went to my first Grateful Dead show, and became an instant huge fan, even though before the show I was telling everyone that I did not like the music.
But oh man did I like the scened when I got to the lot, and walked around all day. And then later during the show with all the other dead heads I truly fell in love and came to understand the difference between the live shows and the songs that would play on the radio.
